Daughter of Frederick 'Fritz' Kurrass and Ernestine Augusta L Johan, wife of Andrew Ande and mother of Edwin Ande.
Obituary - Mrs. Anna Ande, widow of Andrew Ande, died at her home on Atlantic Avenue, Blue Point, last Friday after an illness of about a week. Mrs. Ande, who was 62 years of age, was born in Germany. For the past 25 years she had been a resident of Patchogue and Blue Point. Mr. Ande, who for many years was a well known coal and coke dealer in Brooklyn, died a little over a year ago.
She is survived by one son, Edward Ande, a brother, John Kurrasse, of Patchogue, and three sisters, Mrs. Hattie Abrams, of Springfield, Mrs. Augusta Schnieder, of Poughkeepsie, and Mrs. Louisa Weinert, of Seaford.
Funeral services were held from her late home on Monday afternoon, the Rev. Herman Zoller, pastor of Emanuel Lutheran Church, of Patchogue, officiating, and interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
