GARNER B. "BOBBY" ANCHORS, III, age 69, of Archer, Florida, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2009 in Gainesville, Florida.
Bobby was born December 27, 1939 in Gainesville, to parents Nathalie Bell & Garner B. Anchors, Jr. He was a service technician for Suburban Propane (formerly Texgas) for many years, and then delivered for Eli Whit. He loved traveling and RV camping, his family, food, and fellowship.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his former wife Mary "Karon" Anchors. He is survived by his daughter, JoAnna Anchors Thomas (Warren), of Archer; son, Robert R. Anchors (Laurie), of Jacksonville; sister, Patricia Anchors Stump of Gainesville; five grandchildren: Nathalie, Kristen, Jessica, Josie, and Kylie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mr. Anchors will be Friday, July 31st from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Milam Funeral Home in Gainesville. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Kanapaha Presbyterian Church, 6221 SW 75th Terr., Gainesville, FL. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Gainesville, FL.
