Amsler, Anna Louise, 96, of Tampa, died August 3, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Tampa on July 30, 1913, she graduated high school and Business University in Miami before returning. She worked at a downtown department store and Morrison's Cafeteria for over 25 years. She was fully involved in her faith and very active with her family. She loved tending to her garden, enjoyed traveling, and had fun creating scrapbooks. Anna is preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph, and her sisters Elizabeth Moore and Becky Dunlap. She leaves wonderful memories with her daughter, Janice Drake, her son, Rex Amsler (Ruth); grandchildren Paul Drake (Kathy), Rex Amsler Jr (Tiffany), Phillip Drake, Matthew Roman and Ryan Amsler; great grandchildren Riley, Natalia and Declan Amsler; niece Peggy Vaughan and nephews Stan Amsler and Steve Amsler; and grand nieces Linda Erbland and Elise Morris; and additional family throughout the U.S. The family wishes to thank her nursing staff, aides and doctors who extended special attention and compassionate care of Anna. Services will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday August 15, 2009, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on 6225 N Grady Ave., Tampa.
