She was born in Jacob in 1900. She was married in 1920 to Alfred Amschler, who survives.
Mrs. Amschler also leaves sons Victor of Alton and Marvin of Chester; her mother, Mrs. Meta Zerbst of Jacob; one grandson and four granddaughters; brothers Herman Zerbst and Ernest Zerbst, both of Jacob; and a sister, Mrs. Fred Rathjen of Jacob.
Two children preceded her in death.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church at Neunert, and a charter member of the Ladies Aid of the Church.
Friends may call at the Crawshaw Mortuary Chapel in Murphysboro after 2 p.m. today until 11 a.m. Monday, when the body will be removed to the Christ LUtheran Church of services at 2 p.m. The Rev. W. O. Petzoldt will officiate. Burial will be in Ft. Bluff Cemetery.
