Abraham Amrine was the son of Abraham & Mary Wolford Amrine. He married (1) Catherine McAdams; their children were Marley & Stephen K Amrine. Catherine died young. He married (2)Mary McFadden; their child was Mary J Amrine. He married (3)Mary McPherson. It is said that Abraham moved to Illinois where he was killed by a heavily loaded wagon running over him.
The Amrines were some of the first families to move to Paris Township. They were good Christian citizens and members of the Methodist Church.
