HEPHZIBAH -- Mr. Benjamin F. Amos, 70, of 2510 Lincolnton Parkway, died Wednesday, March 17, 1999, at Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bath Pentecostal Holiness Church, Warrenville, with the Rev. Bill Branch officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Augusta, with military honors.
Mr. Amos, a native of Roanoke, Va., had retired from the Army. He was a veteran of World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He worked in food service with the State Youth Development Center for 20 years. He was a member of Bath Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include his wife, Gertrude W. Amos; a son, Benjamin F. Amos, Augusta; four daughters, Deborah Raborn, Vidette, Connie Eubanks and Alice Ware, both of Waynesboro, and Tammy Amos, Augusta; and seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be members of the military.
