Melvin Ross Amos 42, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013 at his home after an illness.
He was born August 11, 1970 in St. Joseph, MO, son of Karen and Edward Amos. He attended Benton High School. He loved to fish and spend time with his daughters, and was a Christian.
Melvin was preceded in death by father, Edward Amos.
Survivors include, mother, Karen Amos of the home, 2 daughters, Shayln and Shauny Amos of Faucett, 2 brothers, Edward "Osh" and Joseph Amos of St. Joseph, MO, 2 sisters, Gladys Artzer and Patricia Hatfield of St. Joseph, MO, as well as several nieces nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Rupp Funeral Home, with Pastor Rob Diamond officiating, The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday at the Rupp Funeral Home.
