(Amoroso) Olivere

Margaret M. (Amoroso) Olivere, 98, of Wilmington passed away peacefully at Wilmington Hospital on Friday, January 11, 2013 surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Olivere attended St. Peter's Cathedral School in Wilmington and retired from the Wilmington Public School system after more than 25 years working in the cafeterias of Mary C.I. Williams and Bayard Junior High Schools. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church and the BVM Sodality. Margaret was an excellent cook and she enjoyed crypto word puzzles and crocheting. Her husband, Alfred Olivere passed away in 1979.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Maryann B. Graulich and her husband, Donald J. Graulich of San Francisco, CA; her son, Alfred L. Olivere of Wilmington; her granddaughter, Lisa A. Mann and her husband, James of Harleysville, PA and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning, January 16, at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Ninth and DuPont Streets at 10:30 am, where friends may call after 9:30 am. Entombment will be in Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington, DE.
