WATERVILLE - Martha M. Julia, 87, of Waterville passed away peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2004, after a long illness. She died with her Oak Grove Living and Rehabilitation Center family at her side, where she received excellent, loving care.
She was born Aug. 14, 1916, in Waterville, daughter of Clair and Mary Ames. She was educated in local schools and graduated from Lawrence High School. She worked at C.F. Hathaway for more than 40 years.
On June 6, 1942, she married Florian (Buster) J. Julia. She enjoyed the time they shared together traveling after retiring.
She is survived by her son, Florian W. Julia and his wife, Claudette, of Fairfield; her daughter, Marcia J. Wranosky and her husband, Robert, of China Village; her three grandchildren, Melissa J. Black of West Point, Va., Michael Julia and wife Penny of Benton, Bobbi Jo Shores and husband Brian of Clinton; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Florian Julia and one brother, William Ames. (Morning Sentinel 8/14/2004)
