Carl T. Amerson, prominent Dozier farer, died at 10:01 a.am. Friday, August 17, in the Bivins Rehabilitation Center, Amarillo, after a critical illness of about two weeks. He was transferred there the preceding Monday. Mr. Amerson was 67.
He had lived in the Dozier area since 1923 and farmed all of his adult life. He was born January 38, 1906 at Jacksboro, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William J. Amerson.
On February 12, 1932, he was married to Miss Vera Breeding, also of the Dozier area.
Mr. Amerson was a member of the Church of Christ and through the years was active in many community enterprises. The family home is three miles north of Dozier.
