DESSIE AMERSON, 74, Third St., Lake Ida, Winter Haven, died Saturday at Winter Haven Hospital. A native of Soperton, Ga she moved to Winter Haven in 1955. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of God. She is survived by three sons, Ralph and John of Winter Haven and Hartford of San Bruno, Calif.; a daughter, Edna Hutchinson of Tavares; a brother, Thurston Toler of Umatilla; three sisters, Bessie Winn of Adrian, Myrtle Hutchinson of Reidsville, Ga. and Hattie Hutchinson, of Reidsville, Ga.; 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
