Funeral services for Mrs. William Isabelle LaBarge, 78, who died early Sunday morning at her home at 53 Washington Street; Tupper Lake, were held this morning at 9 o'clock in the Holy Name Catholic Church. Burial was in the Holy Name Cemetery. She had been ill since the first of the year and had spent several weeks in the Mercy General Hospital. Born at Riverview, Jan. 27, 1883 the daughter of Jerry and Margaret LaDue Amell, she was married in 1904 to William LaBarge in Derrick. They moved to Tupper Lake a year after and have remained here ever since. Surviving besides her husband are six daughters, Mrs. Earl (Eva) Savage, Mrs. Joseph (Lena) Vileneuve, Richville; Mrs. James (Rita) Merchant, Syracuse; Mrs. Edna Degone, North Tanawanda; Mrs. Ralph (Emmaline) Schiavone of Norwood; and Mrs. Walter (Jeanette) BujoW of Tupper Lake. Also surviving are four sons, Napoleon and Leon of Syracuse; Henry of Plattsburgh, and Roland of Tupper Lake; one step-daughter, Mrs. Minnie Paiement, Tupper Lake; two brothers, Wesley Amell, Tupper Lake, and Charles Amell, Tahawus; and three sisters, Mrs. Addie LaBarge, Mrs Emma Rooker, both of Tupper Lake, and Mts. Jennie Charboneau, Saranac Lake, 36 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
