Daniel D. "Pete" Amel, 38, of W2697 St. Charles Rd. Chilton, died Tuesday May 11, 1993 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah.
He was born April 15, 1955 in Van Dyne, a son of Delmar and Viola (Laudolf) Amel. On July 3, 1976 he married Dawn Rusch at Faith Lutheran Church Valders. He was employed at Chilton Metal Products for 19 years and then at Thermal Clean in Chilton. He was enrolled in a management course at Fox valley Technical College. He was an avid golfer, fisherman and hunter, and was a member of Brothertown Fishing Club.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Derek, Donald and Douglas; one daughter, Deanna, all at home; his parents of Chilton; his parents-in-law, Raphael and Violet Rush, Reedsville; two brothers, David (Jean) and Joseph (Sandy), all of Sheboygan. A brother, Donald preceded him in death.
