Mr. Wesley Wayne Ambush, 20 of 1209 Dahlia Lane, Frederick, died Monday, Aug 3 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton, Va., as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident.

Born Feb. 29, 1972, in Frederick, he was the son of Stanley Eugene Ambush Sr. of Frederick and Ruby Dove Sanders of Frederick.

He had attended Thomas Johnson High School and loved to play basketball. He had been of the Baptist faith.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his stepfather, Stephen Sanders of Frederick; four brothers Stanley Eugene Ambush Jr. and Marcus Augustus Ambush, both of Frederick, James Alexander Ambush of Silver Spring and Kristian Myers of Westminster; one sister Veronica Gray of Frederick; two sons, Brandon Powell and Shawn Keys, both of Frederick; grandparents, Alfred Dove of Rockville, Clara Dove of Gaithersburg and Jessie May Ambush of Frederick; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is also survived by a devoted friend, Jeffrey Gray of Frederick.

Friends may call at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 161 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Saturday, Aug 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. when funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
