Catherine Quick Amann, aged 85 yrs 1 mo. 22 ds, died at 5:45 a.m. Thursday morning, September 6, 1894. Her funeral was held on Friday, September 7, at 2 pm from the residence of her grandson, George W Schatzman, at 82 Walworth Ave. in Cincinnati. Burial followed at the Mt. Washington Cemetery.
Born in Ohio, she was the daughter of John & Catherine Quick. Catherine was married to German immigrant, Lawrence Amann on Jan 4, 1827 in Hamilton Co, Ohio. They were the parents of at least six known children; Rose Anna Amann (Corbin), Cornelius Amann, David Amann, Catherine Amann (Schatzman), Oliver Amann and Thomas Amann.
