Margaret Duck Alvis, 87, of Huntsville passed away Wednesday.
Mrs. Alvis was a native of Madison County. She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Duck; former husband, Jack Alvis; and her granddaughter, Lori Williams.
She is survived by two sons, Randy Duck and wife Jean, and C.L. Duck and wife Kathy; stepson, Tim Alvis; other stepsons and stepdaughters; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Chapel services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Berryhill Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until the start of services.
