Esperanca, 101, is preceded in death by her husband Jose Mendonca and is survived by her daughters, Mary Corvelo and her husband Armando, Sr. Beatriz Mendonca (Missionary Nun), Deolinda Rodrigues and her husband Fernando, Laurinda De Freitas and her husband Manuel and Esperanca Silva and her husband Joe; her sons, Manuel and Joe Mendonca; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
The Rosary will be read Mon. Mar. 5 at 6 pm at St. Clare Catholic Church, 941 Lexington St in Santa Clara; where the Mass will be celebrated at 7 pm. Interment will be in Santa Clara Mission Cemetery Tues. Mar. 6 beginning from Lima Family Santa Clara Mortuary, 466 N Winchester Blvd. with Prayers at 11 am.
