Rosie Alvarez Alcantara
Birth: Oct. 1, 1942
Corpus Christi
Nueces County
Texas, USA
Death: Nov. 15, 2000
Corpus Christi
Nueces County
Texas, USA

Rosie mainly worked in retailing until about the middle 70s when she went to work for IBM. She was there nearly twenty years until they closed the Corpus office.

Rosie was a very good friend for many years but we were not in close contact after I moved to another state. I've missed her all these years.

Rosie fought a very long, hard battle with cancer. Now she is at rest in a far better place.

She was predeceased by her father, Frank Alvarez, Jr. and one brother, Arnie.

She was remembered with love by her mother, Carmen Alvarez, who passed away February 26, 2005. Also by her daughter, Sandra; her sisters, Irma Cantu of Brownsville, TX, Ana Seay of Edgecliff Village, TX, Janie Rosamond and Frances Alvarez of Corpus Christi, TX; her brothers, Frank III of Edgecliff Village, TX, and Joey O. of Pharr, TX.

Rosie's brother, Arnie's, memorial # 10592531.

A pretty, fresh rose for you, Rosie. I have such good memories with you. I wish I could hear your voice again.
