Judy Ann Alton passed away October 10, 2005 at home in Santa Cruz from Lung Cancer. She was 54.Judy was a passionate woman who had enthusiasm for everything she did. During her courageous battle with her illness her life long positive attitude and bubbly personality never faded and her thoughts and concerns were always focused on her family and friends. She brought an upbeat energy to every chemo treatment and even when she was finished she still returned weekly to support the many friends she made at Dr. Shapiro's office.She was a shaker & mover, helped so many people in so many ways and not a speck of dust survived her eagle eye. She did enjoy cats, knitting and wildlife.She is survived by husband Peter Alton, daughter Dawn Rodgers, son Eric Layne, daughter Layla Bautista, Mother Frances Balesteri, Mother-in-law Dorothy Alton, and grandchildren Christopher, Ashley, Shawn, Kendra, Desiree, Rebecca, Michaela and countless family members and friends.She was a wonderful mother, sister, daughter & friend to all.Services will be held Sunday October 16, 2005 at Oblates of St. Joseph 544 W. Cliff Drive at 3:00pm.Contributions preferred to Hospice.NOTE: Burial unknown and is only for the purpose of Find A Grave.
