Mullins - Services for James Allyson Altman, 41, will be held at 3 p.m. today at Cox-Collins Funeral Home Chapel, with the Revs. William C. Jacobs and George Gainey officiating. Burial will follow in Devotion Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice. Mr. Altman died July 4, 2002. Born in Jacksonville, N.C., on March 25, 1961, he was a son of Pauline Jackson Altman and the late Willie Zack Altman. Mr. Altman was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Mullins-Marion Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving are his mother of Mullins; children, Heather Altman, Zack Altman, and Cody Sudd Altman, all of Nichols; his children's mother, Karen Altman of Nichols; brothers, Billy Sudd (Julie) Altman of Monticello, Ga., Richard Leon (Linda) Altman of Bonneau; sisters, Sherrie Altman (Ernie) Hinson of Mullins, Kathy Altman (Robert) Wallace of Mullins; nephew, Justin Brandon Altman; nieces, Alicia Wallace Campbell, Christy Hinson Baker, Hollie Beth Hinson, Lauryn Nichole Wallace, Sallie Suzanne Hinson, Dana Delaine Altman, Christen Hillary Altman, and Kristal Danielle Altman; great-nieces, Audrey and Madison Campbell. © the State, Columbia, SC, 7 Jul 2002
