Mrs. Margaret W. Altman, wife of Henry Altman, died Sunday at a Savannah hospital after a three-weeks illness. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the Ridgeland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Great Swamp Cemetery. Mrs. Altman was a native of Tennessee and had lived in Ridgeland for the past 30 years. She was a member of Great Swamp Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband; a son, Joseph M. Altman of Pensacola, Fla.; her mother, Mrs. Maggie McLain of Welston, Okla.; a brother, Bruce McLain of Welston; and two grandchildren. © The News and Courier, Charleston, SC, 3 Jul 1967
