Mrs. Lena Althaus, 85, for many
years a prominent resident of New
Rome, passed away from a complica-
tion of diseases at her home at 4:30
this morning. She was a sister of
Mrs. A. L. Gross, Third street south.
August Althaus, her son, was living
with her at the time of her death.
Funeral arrangements have not
been made yet.
