Mrs. George Alsop died at her home on the Hecker road Thursday of last week, after a short illness. Her death followed closely the death of her husband who died January 29. Mrs. Alsop was born in the town of Seneca Falls and had lived in Waterloo for a number of years. Surviving are two sons, William and Edward Alsop, of this village; two daughters, Mrs. W. F. Miller, of East Syracuse, and Mrs. H. E. Nielson, of Fayette. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at two o’clock, the Rev. David L. Roberts officiating. Burial was made in Maple Grove cemetery.
