CARBONDALE LEADER, Carbondale, Pennsylvania, May 10, 1910: Death Claims A Well Known Woman -- After a Month's Illness Mrs. Harriet Alpaugh Succumbed Last Evening
The announcement yesterday that Mrs. Harriet Alpaugh was seriously ill was a preparation for the news of today that she passed away last evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Patrick J. Smith, on Spring street. She had been ill for several weeks.
Mrs. Alpaugh was 71 years of age and a native of Franklin, N. Y., but had resided in this city for many years. She is survived by two sons, William Dibble, of Winona, Minn., and Charles Dibble, of Corning, N. Y.; also two daughters, Mrs. Patrick J. Smith and Mrs. J. F. Hermes, both of this city, and one granddaughter, Triphena Kelly, also of this city.
The funeral will take place Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and burial will be made in Brookside cemetery.
