With wife Fanny, Jonathan had one child, daughter Lucinda Mae ("Lucy"), born April 1, 1907, died May 20, 1975. Lucy married Clyde A. Wise, 1904-1982, and had two sons. Lucy and Clyde are buried in Highland Cemetery, Ashland, Clark County, Kansas.
