Mrs. Mary Catherie (sp) Allred Dies in Salt Lake Hospital
Mrs. Mary Catherine Allred, 70, wife of J. Frank Allred, died in a Salt Lake hospital Friday, September 22nd of a heart ailment. Mrs. Allred had the misfortune to fall three weeks ago and break her hip.
She was born November 22, 1873 in Fountain Green, Utah, the daughter of Nephi and Eliza Anne Pennington Robertson. She was married to J. Frank Allred Oct 5, 1899.
Surviving, besides her husband, are four daughters, Mrs. Ila A. Holman, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ruby A. Erickson, Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Geraldine Johnson, Fountain Green and Mrs. Kate Nielson, Moroni; there are 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren; two brothers, Hyrum Robertson, Salt Lake City and Edward Robertson of California; four sisters, Mrs. J. W. Anderson, Overton, Nevada; Mrs. Luvina Madsen, Chico, California; Mrs. Effie R. Rasmussen and Mrs. Clara Wilcox, Rupert, Idaho.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 27 in Fountain Green ward chapel with Bishop Gayle Yorgason conducting.
Interment was in City cemetery and burial was under the direction of the Jacobs Mortuary of Mt. Pleasant.
