Mrs. Lyman Allred, 70, died Friday at Ogden, Utah. The funeral was to be held Monday at Odgen.
Bertha Batien was born March 15, 1906, at Carpenter to Rose and John Batien. She attended grade school in Clark County, was graduated from Madison High School and attended Madison Normal. She taught school several years. She married William Bryan, Sept. 23, 1933. To this union were born three sons, Willis, Gordon and Keith. Her husband died in 1967. In 1969 she married Lyman Allred.
Survivors are her husband; two sons, Willis, Forks, Wash., and Gordon, Manteca, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Dean (Helen) Ratliff, Watertown, Mrs. George (Irene) Flesner, Plymouth, Ind., Elizabeth and Mildred Batien, Huron; and one brother, Floyd Batien, Willow Lake. In addition to her husband William she was preceded in death by her parents and a son Keith.
