OBITUARY;
MRS. DORIS VAYE ALLRED, 81, of Marble, Ark., died Oct. 4, 2004 at the Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born Dec.14, 1922 at Marble, the daughter Lester and Margaret Jack Cline. She was a homemaker and a former officer-in-charge of the Marble Post Office. She was a member of Marble United Baptist Church.
Survivors include: her husband, Chancie R. Allred of the home; two sons, Charles Ray Allred and Billy Junior Allred, both of Marble; four daughters, Mrs. Barbara Jean Ware and Mrs. Brenda Joyce Fowler, both of Marble, Mrs. Kathy Sue Anderson of Prairie Grove, Ark., and Mrs. Sammy Lynn Rector of Fayetteville; one brother, Leonard Cline of Tulsa; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Lou Tice of Huntsville and Mrs. Dorothy Lawson of Upland, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004, at the Marble United Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Villines and Rev. Darl Wilson officiating. Interment was in the Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville.
