Statesboro, Ga. - Mr. Harvey L. Allmond, age 60, died Saturday, August 13, 2011, at his residence. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, hunting and fishing. He was a John Deere mechanic and worked at Blanchard Equipment Company for many years. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Edward Allmond; his father, Mose Edward Allmond; and his daughter, Jennifer Miranda Allmond.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 am in the chapel of Hodges-Moore Funeral Home with Rev. J. D. Turner officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Hodges-Moore Funeral Home of Statesboro is in charge of the arrangements.
