Mr. Gerald W. Allmon of Henderson was born to Harley and Alma Allmon. After earning a ceramic engineering degree at the Rolla School of Mines and Metal-lurgy, Gerald went to work for Henderson Clay Products in 1958 until his retirement in 1997.

Music was an important part of Gerald's life. He was a member of the Crim Gospel Singers, Gloryland Vocal Band, and the First United Methodist Church Choir and Praise Team. He was also a faithful servant of the church since 1958. In retirement, he worked as the maintenance go-to man for Johnny Walker.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Wanda Allmon, and his most recently his second wife, Donna Allmon.
