Patricia Ann Ahline, Galesburg Chapel
75, 1384 N. Henderson St., Galesburg, died at 4:37 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2010 in OSF St. Mary Medical Center.
She was born April 14, 1935 in Galesburg, the daughter of William J. and Betty L. Higgins Allison. She married Charles Fred Ahline on July 20, 1956 in Milwaukee, Wis. He preceded her in death on April 8, 1984.
She is survived by three sons, Jeff (and Kim) Ahline of Lemont, Ill., Jon Ahline of Illinois, and Jim Ahline of Janesville, Wis., a daughter, Julie (and Darryl) Smith of Linn Creek, Mo., 18 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a sister, Margaret Coan of Henderson, Ill. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Barbara M. Lansing.
Patricia worked at St. Mary's Square Living Center for 15 years and loved her work there. She graduated from Galesburg High School and attended Western Illinois University. While at Western, Patricia was a cheerleader and joined Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She attended Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2010 in St. Joseph Cemetery. Rev. Deus-Dedit Byabato will officiate. There will be no visitation.
