Born July 16, 1906 in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of Lenn Arlington Allison and Clara Maude McCarty. She married Lewis Francis Beck, May 26, 1926. They were the parents of 4 children: Hershell, Clara, Robert and Barbara.
She was preceded in death by her husband Francis who died in 1988, her son Hershell, her daughter Clara and her great-granddaughter, Allison.
She was survived by her daughter Barbara Ross of Sun City, CA and her son Robert of Fortville, IN; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
On a personal note, my Grandma was a wonderful person, a great cook, an excellent seamstress and quilt maker and loved to make people laugh. She was, in my opinion, truly one of the great ones. I love you Grandma, and we are all going to miss you.
