Edna Allison

Shippingport - Edna M. Allison, 94, of Shippingport, passed away Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007, in The Medical Center, Beaver, following a brief illness. Born May 20, 1912, in Follansbee, W. Va., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Vera May Morgan, and was a member of the Shippingport Wesleyan Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Allison. Survivors include one son, Floyd "Bud" Allison of Chester; two daughters, Majorie Richey and Lois J. Stewart, both of Shippingport; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Frank Morgan of East Liverpool. Visitation is 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday at Welch Funeral Home, where services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday. Interment to follow in Mill Creek Cemetery.
