Graveside services for Jo Rea Allison were held January 15, 2008 at 1 p.m. in the Sayre-Doxey Cemetery with Gary Baird officiating under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Sayre.
Jo Rea, the daughter of Jenny and Ed Allison, was born October 1, 1917 in Sayre, OK and passed away January 14, 2008 at Carnegie, OK at the age of 90 years, three months and 13 days.
Jo Rea moved to Norman, OK and later to California, living in San Francisco and San Diego. She remained in California until the early 1960's before returning to Oklahoma. She lived in the Norman and Oklahoma City area until 2002 when she moved to Carnegie to make her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Leonard Hyoil,(sic) one sister and three brothers.
she is survived by seven children, Joe Wolf of Carnegie, OK, Jeannie Johnson, Paula Carlson, Van Wolf, Ellen Enander, and Mark Schwartz all of California and Rhonda Schwartz of Oklahoma City; 15 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
