Clarence Allison, 79, passed away Tuesday evening, October 3, after suffering a heart attack at the home of his brother-in-law, Cecil Allender, east of Bloomington.
Mr. Allison was born July 14, 1882, the son of George and Sarah Allison, in Nashville. He was united in marriage to Nettie Allender on June 30, 1931 in Columbus. He was a member of the Petersville Methodist Church. He and Mrs. Allison made their home near Petersville and Columbus until moving to the home of the Allenders in August of this year. His wife, Nettie, survives.
Funeral services will be held at the Bond Funeral Home, Friday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Elmer Butcher officiating. Burial will be in the Bean Blossom Cemetery.
