Garland Allison, 57, a loving husband, father, brother and son, passed away Friday, May 18, 2012, in Grapevine. Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 25, in Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Chapel. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Garland had a 40-year career with BNSF Railway where he held various positions.
Survivors: Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 27 years, Debra Allison; son, Chance Allison; brother, Jake Allison; sister, Anita Whitman; mother, Juanita Allison; the Jenkins family of Memphis, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
