Allison 87, 8 months and 15 days died 16 Sep 1954 at 4:00 a.m. at 835 Chester Ave., East Liverpool, Columbiana County, OH of coronary thrombosis for 4 days, with severe congestive failure anesarca arteriosclerotic heart disease since 1948 and chronic asthmatic bronchitis. She was born in Wood County, OH on 01 Jan 1867 and was a widow. Her father was John Barimore and her mother was Elizabeth Ralston. The informant was L.A. Diddle. She was buried 18 Sep 1854 at the Riverview Cemetery in East Liverpool, Columbiana County OH.

Rites To Be Saturday For Mrs. Axie Allison

Mrs. Axie Diddle Allison, 87, died today at 4 a.m. in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Eber McGraw, 835 Chester Ave., following a long illness. Mrs. Allison was born in Woods County to John and Elizabeth Barimore and came to East Liverpool about 20 years ago from Hookstown. She was a member of the First Free Methodist Church. She leaves three other daughters, Mrs. Hazel Bucher and Mrs. Ruth Reed of East Liverpool, and Mrs. Delma Bolles of Toronto; two sons, Lawrence A. Diddle of East Liverpool, and Frank T. Diddle of San Antonio, Tex.; a stepson, Lee Allison of East Liverpool; three step-daughters, Mrs. Callie Brenard and Mrs. Cora Allison of East Liverpool, and Mrs. Eddie Ally of Follansbee; a brother, John H. Barimore of Inverness, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Fannie Sines of Racine, and 13 grandchildren and 9 great - grandchildren. Rites will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Dawson Funeral Home by the Rev. W. P. Jones. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call Friday afternoon and night at the funeral home.
