COOKEVILLE Funeral services for Theodore Roosevelt Allison, 75, of Baxter, will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 31, from the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. today, Thursday, Jan. 29, and from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30, at the funeral home.

Mr. Allison died on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

He was born on Oct. 24, 1928, in Putnam County to the late Arnold and May Boyd Allison.

He was a carpenter and self-employed home builder. Mr. Allison was a member of Boma Church of God and a lifetime member of VFW. He served in the Army during the Korean War.

His family includes his wife, Evelyn Winona Patton Allison of Baxter; two daughters, Stephanie Martin of McMinnville and Jolene Allison of Baxter; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Mary and Morris McBroom of Cookeville and Pauline and Ben Pritchard of South Carolina; three grandchildren, Amber and Ricky Brown and Jennifer Farley; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Lafever.

Pallbearers will be family members.

Bro. Clyde Cunningham will officiate at the services.
