Edward F. "Ed" Allington was born April 19, 1937 in Red Lodge, Montana; the son of Floyd and Juanita (Cortner) Allington. He was reared and educated in Belfry, Montana.
He worked various ranching and mining jobs in Montana until 1957, when he moved to Worland, Wyoming and worked for Dale Weaver, Inc. as a welder until 1963.
Mr. Allington married Sharin Morrison November 25, 1958, in Billings, Montana.
In June 1963, they moved to Glenrock, Wyoming where he worked for Thatcher and Sons, Inc. as a welder from 1963-1985. He then worked for Rochelle Coal Company from June 1987 until the time of his death.
He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church of Glenrock and was once a member of the Bishop's Committee of the church.
He was survived by his wife Sharin of Glenrock; mother Juanita Allington of Cody, Wyoming; children Cara and husband Tom Bolinger of Douglas, Wyoming and Mark and wife Cindi Allington of Glenrock; sisters Betty and husband Lee Howard of Townsend, Montana; Kay and husband Ron Butler of Laurel, Montana; Karen Ridl of Billings, Montana; Cheryl and husband Bob Seely of Cody, and Bonnie and husband Rod Vetter of Joliet, Montana; brothers Kenny and wife Doris Allington of Pavillion, Wyoming and Keith Allington of Idaho Falls, Idaho; grandchildren Heather, Lindsey, Christopher, Thomas, Casey, Nicholas, Haley, Kassidy and Madison; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Floyd and sister Molly Miller.
