Blue Springs, Neb., April 12.- O.B. Allington, well known retired farmer, resident of Blue Springs for the past several years, who died suddenly from a stroke of apoplexy late Monday, was buried Wednesday afternoon, the funeral being conducted from the home here at 2 o'clock. Mr. Allington had only recently celebrated his 70th birthday with his mother here, who is ninety-three years old, being one of the oldest women of the vicinity. He had only two days ago purchased himself a new automobile, and Monday afternoon, accompanied by a grandson, of Blue Springs, started to drive to Beatrice to obtain a driver's license. When about half way to Beatrice the boy noticed that Mr. Allington gripped the wheel tightly and acted queerly, and persuaded the aged man to give way at the wheel and the boy turned back home. Mr. Allington died an hour after reaching home. He had always been unusually strong and active. He is survived by the widow, the aged mother, and two sons, Clyde, manager of a filling station here, and Frank, farmer, living northwest of Blue Springs.
