Richard Allington, 68, died in his farm home, Allington Road, China Township, Friday morning last, after several weeks illness.
He was born in China township, Jan. 25, 1867. He was the son of the late Rev. and Mrs. William Allington, pioneer settlers here. He married Miss Myrtle Hall, June,2, 1892. Mrs. Allington died in 1930.
Mr. Allington is survived by two sons, Guy and Robert at home; one sister, Mrs. Carl Vogt, Richmond; four brothers, Robert, California; Fred, Jackson, Mich.; George, Detroit; John, Cleveland, and one granddaughter, Dorothy Eileen Allington, who made her home with her grandfather.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the home, Rev. James Roberts, pastor of the local Methodist church, officiating. Burial was in Hillside cemetery
