Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday. Visitation with the family will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions to a fund in Mrs. Rohrdanz's name will be accepted.
Survivors are a son, Lyle Wyatt of Newton; two daughters, Charity John of Marshalltown and Arlene Seeley of Newton; 18 grandchildren; 22 great=grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, James K. Allfree of Colfax; and a sister, Mrs. Very Lundberg of Newton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Welcome Wyatt, second husband, Ernest Rohrdanz, two sons, Robert and Gearold Wyatt, two sisters, Mary Callison and Edith Lundberg, and three grandchildren.
Mrs. Rohrdanz, a charter member of the Community Heights Alliance Church, had been a homemaker and had worked at Skiff Medical Center for several years.
The daughter of Henry I. and Amanda Belle Sanderson Allfree, she was born July 24, 1891 in Newton. ~ The Newton Daily News, July 3, 1986, page 6.
