Jack Alley, 69, of the 300 block of Daffodil Lane, a retired civil service employee, died March 12, 1991, in a hospital.

Mr. Alley, a native of Norfolk, had retired from the Norfolk Naval Supply Center. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a former member of the Lake Wright Golf Association, and was a member of the alumni association of the College of William and Mary and the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 39.

Survivors include his wife, Norma S. Alley; two daughters, Edie Alley and Judy L. Alley, both of Norfolk; and three sisters, Esther A. Augustine and Alice A. Darden, both of Norfolk, and Mary A. Fritch of LaMargue, Texas.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in McKendree United Methodist Church by the Rev. Dick Jones. Burial will be private at a later date. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, is handling arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association or to a favorite charity.
