ANNA LEE ALLEY
Anna Lee Alley, 92, of Crab Orchard, passed away May 15, 2001. Funeral services were conducted May 16 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home. Bro. Danny Smith and Dr. Starling K. Alley Jr. officiated, with the eulogy by Mrs. Alley's sons, Kess and Ken, and special music by Paul Tracy and Ray Johnson.
Graveside committal was May 17 at Haley's Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Alley was born June 20, 1908, in Delmer, KY, the daughter of Ezekial and Eathel Burton.
She was a homemaker, and of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include her sons, Dr. Starling K. Alley Jr. of Arizona and Col. Kenneth M. Alley of Crab Orchard; daughters, Leah Ann Kidd of Crab Orchard, Betty Campbell of Crossville, Fay Larsen of Montana, Ruth Tracy of California, Edith Sedlak of Georgia and Margaret Johnson of Indiana; sister, Elma Padula of Deerfield, IL; 24 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Starling Kessler "S.K." Alley Sr.; and an infant daughter, Linda Lou Alley.
Pallbearers were Stuart Alley, Jeffrey Lyons, Steven Kidd, Greg Campbell, Rachel Alley, Lynda Southwell, Krista Emmett, Joan Ginn and
