He was the son of the late Charles and Emelda Veve Allendorph. He was born in Cohoes and educated at St. Joseph's School and Cohoes High School. He worked at Norton Company, Watervliet for 31 years. He served in the Army for three years; he also was on the boxing team while in the service. He was an avid Bingo player, he enjoyed his coin collection. He was a former member of the Moose Club. Survivors include his devoted wife of 50 years, Irene (Gert) Narosky Allendorph of Cohoes; his children, Carl (Becky) Allendorph of Cohoes and Kimberly Fan of Waterford; his brother, Charlie Allendorph of Cohoes and the late Joan Forman. Grandfather of Joey (Nicole) Fan of Canada, Jeremy Fan, Danielle and Aaron Allendorph and another expected grandchild; also survived by his sister-in-law, Jean Rekemeyer of Cohoes; his niece, Barbara Greene of Cohoes; nephew, Eddie Rekemeyer of Cohoes and niece Karen Aayotte of Troy and several cousins.
