A.P. Allen Died Saturday Morning.
Mr. A.P. Allen died at the home of his brother, Mr. A. Allen, in Prairie Grove, last Saturday morning at an early hour, after a lingering illness.
On June 4th, last year, Mr. Allen was stricken with paralysis, and had been in a helpless condition since that time, being confined to his bed the greater part of that time. He was in his 62nd year, and was born and raised in Johnson County, Ark., but had lived in this vicinity for about 12 years.
Besides his brother with whom he lived, he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Mary Hogan and Miss Emeline Allen of Fayetteville.
The internment was made in the Prairie Grove cemetery Saturday afternoon, the services at the grave being conducted by Rev. J.E. McConnell.
