Mrs. George M. Allen of this city died at her home Monday morning, January 31st. She had been very ill for some time and gradually weakened until the Grim Reaper claimer her.
She leaves a husband and five little children, the youngest three and the oldest about fifteen.
The deceased was a member of Fullerton Court No. 6, Tribe of Ben Hur, which lodge took charge of the funeral, the members attending in a body. The services were held at the Methodist church at nine o'clock Tuesday morning. The Reverend McVay conducted the same.
Immediately after the funeral the body was taken to the train where it was shipped to David City, the former home of Mr. and Mrs. Allen, for burial. Mrs. Allen was greatly esteemed by all who knew her. The husband and father has the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community in this dark hour of sorrow.
