CLEARFIELD - Maj. Bryant Ray Allen, 43, 739 N. 200 W., died Thursday of a heart ailment at the Hill Air Force Base Hospital.

Maj. Allen was born Dec. 22, 1918, in Joyce, La. He was married to Patricia Hoffman on Oct. 14, 1943, at Pueblo, Colo.

He had been stationed at Hill AFB for the past two years. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

Surviving are his widow, six sons and daughters, Roger, Deborah, Mary, Barbara, Robert and Steven Allen, all of Clearfield; two sisters, Mrs. Clifford Thompson and Mrs. Willie O. Roark, both of Louisiana.

Friends may call at the Union Memorial Chapel, 1095 N. Main, Layton, tonight from 7 to 9. Burial will be in the Alexandria National Cemetery at Pineville, La.
