Milly Ann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Allen was born in Putnam county, Mo., Sept 17 1859 and grew to womanhood near the place of her birth. She was united in marriage to William Hudson on the 27th day of November, 1883. Six sons and one daughter were born to bless this union: Ernest, Bryan and Mert of Centerville, Marion of Cincinnati, Walter of Des Moines, Everett of Brooklyn, Iowa, Zephyr of Montezuma, Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. Hudson lived on a farm in Putnam county near the state line until 11 years ago when they moved to Centerville, locating at 502 State St. Mrs. Hudson departed this life at her late home at 502 State St Monday afternoon at 1:20, October 27 1930 aged 71 years 1 month and 10 days. In her early life she was converted and united with the United Brethren church attending services until she moved to Centerville at the Mt Harmon church. She is survived by her seven children one brother, Albert Allen of Exline, IA, one sister Mrs. Ida Rice of Cincinnati, and 21 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her companion three years ago the 24th day of this coming December, three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral was held at the First Baptist church in Centerville, Ia conducted by Elder Whorton, assisted by Rev. Luther W Childs, pastor of the church
