Completed her earthly life at her home. Born in Marysvale, Utah. Daughter of David and Annie Burr. Grew up Marysvale. Married Champ Allen April 15, 1936 in Richfield, Utah. Marriage solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Family moved to Springville in 1946 where Champ started and operated Allen Cleaners for 46 years. A devoted wife and mother. Served in various calling in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints including the primary, young women's and relief society organization. Loved to cook, quilt and sew for family and as a vocation. Employed in the Nebo School District school lunch program. A seamstress for Allen Cleaners and for a drapery business. Square dance for 30 years with Champ. Belong to several local square dance clubs, traveling extensively, attending regional and national conventions. Her rose garden brought great satisfaction.

Survived by four children: Gylan (Mary) Allen, Judy Allen (Pat-deceased) Hardee, Lark (Susan) Allen, and David (Chrys) Allen, a brother, Lynn, 25 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild. Predeceased by husband, Champ, parents, and four brothers, Neldon, Morris, Jay, and Douglas.
